  1. I like it! It would be handy when the neighbors get too loud!
  2. A few more pics. The loader was built in a small one bay shop much like the shack that belongs to a friend of mine. He's a retired fabricator and races go-karts. I did the layouts and he did the welding. I did all the plumbing ect. What I really like about the PK is I can stand up on it and stretch out when I'm on it for a while. I mainly use it for snow removal
  3. Built by Engineered Products Waukesha Wisconsin. They began in 1946.14 HP K321 Kohler single. Single 3 spd Crosley transmission all gear drive. These also came with dual trannies. Dana rear axle with a final drive ratio of 12.25:1 Also has hyd 3 pt. rear hitch. 24" rear wheels, they are actually Farmall Cub rear wheels and 12" fronts. Offset Ross steering gear. Rear weights are off a Farmall A and the fronts off of Cub Cadet.
  4. Finally got a good pic to post of my Economy Power King 2414. THe loader was home built. The uprights and arms were copied from the PK drawings and the bucket is a scoop hybrid. Exhaust stack was made from a Gravely muffler and electrical conduit.
  5. That's an dealer envelope to store the owners manual warranty cards ect. They hung it on the steering wheels or handles on the tractors in the showroom. When I bought my 73 12, the owner had everything still inside it.
  6. Man I could use that grass screen for my little RJ engine
  7. Speaking of axle keys. I bought my 73 12 from the original owner. He had every receipt that he ever got for it. Nothing was noted about replacing an axle. I replaced the puny stock rear hubs with a pair from a 520. The axle keys were 2 different sizes. I had to use a #15 and a # 22 I got hardened keys from McMaster-Carr. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/topic/46580-a-tale-of-2-keys/?hl=%2Baxle+%2Bkeys#entry429788
  8. Those little DB plows are awesome. I had one modded to work on a WH before I got the factory plow. Worked great
  9. I know what you mean. I've watched a lot of plow day video's on You tube and it seems a lot of guys especially the ones with the bigger JD's are more interested in how fast they can go as opposed to how straight and even the furrow is. I hope to go to a plow day sometime. I have a 12HP WheelHorse with a 8" plow and a Power King 2414 with a 10" I'd like to try out.
  10. My favorite Gravely video. Throwing snow as high as the power lines!
  11. Never owned 1 but the worst car I've ever dealt with we're Renaults. I worked at a Chrysler dealer when they got involved with AMC/Renault. What complete toilets. The only way to repair one was to junk it
  12. Brings back some memories of the head lightless 100 and Original I had. Here are a couple of pics of the original:
  13. Powered trailer is neat!
  14. There is allegedly a brand new Mustang sitting in a crate in Florida. Last I knew owner wanted $1000 for it.
  15. My grandmother had one of those. As long as I remember the top piece was in the "Pantry" and the bottom was in the kitchen. She kept her mixer on it and rolled out tons of dough on that cabinet. The grand kids got to "select" certain items to have when she died. I ended up being the lucky one of the group. No one wanted the dining room set or the piano my Grandfather gave her as a wedding present so I got them with out arguments. Anyway we had an auction for the remaining items. Those Sellers cabinet pieces didn't do much for me as they were. The auctioneer came in on auction day and went crazy when he saw both cabinets split up. He instantly had his guys put them together. My GF still had the hardware in one of the drawers. It was a totally different animal put together and fetched over $1000. If I had known before hand what that was, it would have been in my house.
  16. Reminds me of my old neighborhood as a child. I had a old Gravely on each side of me with the brushhog mowers and sulkies. Those things used to howl every Sat. morning. One guy had the dog eater snowblower that threw the snow over the power lines and across the road.
  17. nice to see one of them actually powering something. Way cool!
