I wish I had more of an update on Why Not for you guy's, but as my ordered steel has yet to turn up (fingers crossed for tomorrow he says yet again ) I've not been able to get on with much..
 
These two bits of blue box have been welded to the back of the body and screwed to the bench..
 

 
 
And a couple more lengths at the front.. These hold the bodywork in the right place so I can work out how the new chassis rails will run..
 

 
 
Nothing is set in stone yet, but I do know I want the top rails to run inside the bodywork..
 

 
 
Roll on when the steel arrives, it will look better and be a bit stronger than the lengths of wood
 

Thinking about it I'm sure there's a cut down one in the workshop that I could take a picture of to show you what I mean I'll look first thing

Years ago when my old man shortened a reliant axle to go under a yammy xj900 trike just cut down the hub end and rewelded the square drive flange back onto the shaft and never had a problem

My first two "ride on's" were both Westwoods... Quite strongly built machines but it's a shame they skimped on the glue that holds the paint on

Yes I like the weathered look about the old girl. Going to keep this one.
 
I have had a lot of issues with the engine when it gets hot. After alot of head scratching it turns out it was lacking compression.
 
So treated it to a new set of piston rings & valves  My good friend Mark came down & we took the engine apart again with his valve seat cutter & we cut new seats & ground the new valves in at the weekend. It now runs better now & will tow the gangs tomorrow & find out.

Hi all even though I'm 5500 miles away on my honeymoon I sent my brother to take ownership if this horwool 84 which has just got one cutting reel at the moment ,I'm hoping to get some more for it but does come with a nice 16 hp vanguard engine I'm hoping to modify it for bAnking work etc it's also on the same hub centers as wheel horse so I might treat it to a nice set if agri tyres what do you folks think. ?

Hi, my latest purchase from that well known internet auction site, a 1971 Merry Tiller Titan, the type with internal gears giving 2 forward and 1 reverse speeds, doubled up with the 2 pulley sizes. It had been stood for several years under a sheet but with a clean of the points, a new carb diaphragm and freeing off a stuck exhaust valve it fired up and sounds very good.

Ive been wanting to have a show for many years now .  Could it be done ??? . We have a nice bit of land we could use ??? any ideas ,  or advice would be help full . thanks heres a picture of the land  

Just bought this little chap, don't know too much about him yet other than he is running , requires a deck and a new fuel pipe.
I pick him up next week ,more pics to come
