  1. Now that would be like finding a needle in a hay stack!
  2. The coil fit rite in place the wire was to long and cracked had to do a little repair there. I don't like using new parts because once you put them on an engine there gone. still have a few used ones to use first. Yes I got the insulator cap with the Engine I'm missing about 6 of them don't know what I'm going to put it on. p.s. Those are plug wrenches
  3. I get in the tanks first with these and push out as much as I can. I have bent them to get were I need to go first

  6. Very nice- what is it attached to? looks like that is a nice unit the one i'm working on is a shelf unit has a chain sprocket on it but no plans for it at this time.

  10. Just takes a little time after grinding the numbers off had to do something. I couldn't leave the numbers on it you Can't have a engine with two sets of number . talk about being confused . Thanks David for the diagrams that will help . Would like to tag this parts as I put them in a box
  11. Thanks David this is the engine I used to repair the toby cart . A lot of good parts just would like to ad numbers to the parts before I put them in a box . Most of my inventory is in the computer The gear boxes are not in the most of the parts breakdowns . Thanks for the help before I got this post done you already replied . That's awesome Your the best

  13. Just got 5 sets but hopping to have time this winter to get with it and get some done H engine is next.
  14. Got the H engine today not bad tank need a little T.L.C. coil shot will need to change turns over good I think just a good tear down and a tank rebuild it will be good . Oh ya the carb will need done .
  15. David missed that last post. so that shaft should fit the generator. the key-way does not mater?

David I WILL AD PICS BUT YES ITS A MODEL B II ser 102646. cylinder is good just trying to make it look like it should if I'm correct it should have a uy-6 in it???? like to make them as close as I can. but sometime we have to make due . I found a cylinder that will work for JD's generator but the crank has two keys in it . its taper but Ive never had one apart so don't know if it will work
  17. Boy that bench is a mess how do you find anything?? Got the gearbox off the back this morning , got a few pic's to see if the shaft is rite never taken a generator off yet. got two of them but still need to be restored . Let me Know if the crank is rite I'm in search of a cylinder with that will work with small plug hole.
  18. got an old engine here might wok for jmb44 ( don't see your name on here so its just jmb44) before I take the gearbox off I will see if the boys can tell me if it will work ??? its a model b-II 102646 I think it has a different plug but need to see if crank is the same. not sure if it has a tapered shaft ???
  19. I got a generator from a man in Pennsylvania last year I'm in north Carolina it cost me 22.00 not bad . (no import tax) must be hard to get a deal??
