About 1960.It was made.
250 cc four speed box.Bought a few years ago unseen for engine.So I could put it in another DOT motor cycle.
Its a very rare DMW trials bike.Not seen another one.
DMW made quite a few Machines...One was a Police Type scooter with all the radio gear Etc.
Keep seeing one. At one of our local shows.

It was taken at our Yearly annual One day West Riding Trial.
We do about 35/40 miles on and of tarmac.
Riders come from far afield to compete....We get just short of hundred entries for the one day.
Fairly old 1955.Made in Manchester by D.O.T motor cycles.
The initials stand for Devoid of Trouble.
Its a 197cc Competition Machine 4 speed gearbox.
Owned for about 35 years and still going strong.
Repainting it over the winter .Not been painted for 20 years.
