Ah, this is gonna be an awesome project to follow
You guys in the USA have some wicked garden tractors
-
Im with you on that one John , i also have lots of projectson the go that are 3/4 done , tools everywhere i drive myself mad with it .
Unfortunatley i am in a job that requires me to get jobs finished ,otherwise i dont get paid .
I installed a new kitchen for my wife last year & she is driving me mad to get it finished .
-
Hmm, i dont know too much about these , cant say that i have seen any in UK , But thats not to say that there isnt any here though . It looks a great machine though & i wouldnt mind owning one .
-
I was nearly going to sell a couple a few weeks ago to pay my tax bill , but i managed to fend off the tax man for a bit so i may not have to sell them .
I really wouldnt like to sell them but i guess one day i may need to when i retire as i dont have a pension .
-
I think the Frankin mint tractors although can be expensive but are well worth the money , do they only do the row crop Farmall type paul ?
Here are a few pics of my collection , i really need to get them put in a sealed display case as they are collecting quite a lot of dust at the moment .
I started to collect the orange Fiat Hitachi construction equipment because i used to work for the company that were the sole importer of Fiat construction equipment and they used to get me a model every time i done some work for them .
-
love to see the ploughing pics
go on Norm , go up and do some ploughing before you need a passport to get into Scotland .
Ransom Plooman good to have you around
-
OMG £5000 , did he get that for it paul ?
I know chris made a real nice job of that one
-
I have allways wanted one of those Farmall tractors from franklin mint 1/12 scale i think they are ? lots of detail
-
you are not alone in collecting model tractors Paul , i also have quite a collection of universal hobbies tractors & models of construction equipment
-
Just to let you know that this is not a link to Ebay
While on my internet travels i found something that really grabbed my attention .
The prices of Trojan Toraktors have hit the roof , i was amazed at the price people put on a Trojan, however one did sell at an auction a couple of years ago for £2500 so it may be possible
-
Id like to know where i can buy one of those special stands that you have the Lawn Ranger Resting on .
-
Kinda has a similar look to your invention John
-
You heard right Nigel , i passed 9 Dutch lorries yeaterday with large steel pumping tubes on the back . they are intending to deliberatley flood other lower lined fields so that it will allow the pumps to collect the water & pump it into the river parrett , only problem is , if it doesnt go right they could actually makes things even worse as it would then flood the town of Bridgwater submerging thousands of houses
-
We have been calling for action here in South West your years , but the local councils just treat you like you are just being a nuisance & a trouble maker.
I have been campaigning to top houses being built on green field land for the last 3 years & guess what they just granted planning permission to build 450 houses on land that is currently underwater . & to add salt into the wounds the council has just pulled down the local swimming baths & playing field so that they can build a massive Tescos to compete with the other 8 major supermaket companies that are in this small town .
I could go on about how coucils are selling their towns down the river , if you excuse the pun
-
Fantastic memories , if only we could turn the clock back eh.
It reminds me of when i used to go Pea picking in Kent with my Nan & we used to travel from East london to Kent on the back of a trailer pulled by a tractor
Oh those were the days
Great pics
