do any of your sheds have sky lights??

the engine seems lovely, the previous owner had just spent £110 on a new coil for it......seems to have good oil pressure, ticks over very low and doesnt smoke..so i guess time will tell....i cant live with the bonnet and steering so its definately going to get modified...i will keep in mind the air flow..i wouldnt of given it a second thought if you hadnt of mentioned it so thanks for that tip!!!!

come on guys.i cant beleve with all the combined knowledge on this forum nobodys knows anything about these mowers!!! iv had it a few days now.....i hate the bonnet.......the steering is awful and my narrow boat is more responsive........ the chassis looks decent enough.........the gearbox seems ok and the engine runs well... has anyone any expierience with these gearboxes?? what are these kohler horribly opposed engines like?? i cant post pics for some reason???

yes rang him...very nice fella and straight talking.....he doesnt have any shafts...the little t1600 is for breaking i think

i havent got the room to sleeve it aswell...its broke just past my weld, the shaft has many stress fractures running the length of the shaft......the box is a hydro gear.......

ITS FAILED........i did a propper job and ground the shafts to tapers set them in the lather and took my time welding it up.......a few times round the garden and its well on its way to sheering again.......i guess welding isnt a viable option.......

hi, iv bought a yard pro 1860..it has a kohler 18hp twin.could you please tell me.is it a v or oposed? how good are these engines...are these gearboxs any good..its a 6 speed roper??? ......how common are they?? is it worth restoring or just modify it..seems to have acres of cheap plastic.....does anyone have any parts??

evening chaps, i have a hydro t1600 westwood,the axle has snapped just past were it exits the trans axle.......iv dropped the half shaft out of the box today,ground either broken end to a point and built it back up with weld,iv run it up inthe lather and its within 10 thou ....i know iv probably wasted my time as iv now destroyed the hardening on the shaft but its wrth a try.....

i have quickly out grown the shed,, so today we moved all of the ride ons to another shed..i wasnt aloud to use the front end loader as gracey wanted to tow everything....

well chris i would if one of you lot will sell me something!!!! i think the shafts are made to hard in the manufacturing process. this looks like a piece of snapped wood rather than a clean break..

this ones got hydro gearbox...have been told they snap the shafts quite regualy?

hi, iv got a westwood t1600 and the back half shaft has snapped , does anyone know if the parts are readily availible (preferably second hand) or do i need to get busy with the mig welder??

hi, my b111 doesnt collect grass.....is it a matter of changing/modifing the blades and fitting an extraction duct going to a collector on the back of the tractor????

thats a very kind offer but if he isnt telling the truth i wouldnt want to deal with him anyway .......iv bought hundreds of oily rusty lumps of metal over the years and can easily count on one hand any bad deals....it wasnt what iv set my heart on, it would of been something to restore when things are quite...

the selling price was low.... but for me ,having somebody collect it and it being a 420 mile round trip it was going to come to enough money really, the seller seemed ok judgeing by the few communications we had.....just wasnt meant to be i guess

hi, i won this last night on a well known auction site, arranged to collect it on sunday and have had a message saying that the wh along with some other items have been stolen....it was located in battle sussex.....

i had a suffolk ploughing tractor a few years ago, it was supposed to be easy to steam but i always struggled even with high quality steam coal...your engine do look like true works of art

thats a rare old lister you have there, the cs's are going up in value year on year,i have a cs6 starto matic next to my boat,we used it to run our washing machine........it seems to have a stuck valve at the moment so i will have to have a look when i get the time...............nice to see a restoration without being painted!!!!!

had quite a pleasent afternoon mowing today, the clutch starter switch is playing up so i shorted the wires,then the engine started hunting, i think iv narrowed that down to the fuel cap breather being blocked apart from that the b111 has been great,....its going to be nice adding to the wheel horse collection
