Little bit smokey at times, but I can investigate that.
Yes he loves it and it doesn't bother him in the slightest.
Looking forward to sorting the wheels Wednesday and then showing Saturday. Decided on the fordingbridge summer festival. A bit more relaxed with the new baby and only 5 mins away.
Owner contacted me today... he has found some paper work for the bolens and is sending it down. I think it's just a manual as he said he had a friend in America who sent him one across but who know what goodies may turn up
Managed to sort the gear crunching.... the foot pedal wasn't engaging quite enough.
The transmission whine... will that kind off is what it is.. anyone to stop it?
Silly question I expect.... where is the clutch? And easiest way to check
Can't get the youtube videos on here..
But if you go on YouTube and search
bangerboi2b (account I made a good few years ago ) then I have uploaded a couple onto there.
The bolens looks quite smokey in one video but that appears to have cleared itself up
Let me know what you think
Brilliant! Cheers for the identification.
Yes all set up and working, appears to be working well.
Engine aswell seems to be going well after a few hick ups earlier.
I will be taking the carb off for a good clean out soon.
Only thing left to do asap is the wheels but they should be sorted by next weekend.
All in all very happy with how she is going... will try and sort the video
Will look into the bolens forumn...
And will get a photo off it running... as soon as it is! Just working at getting the front off to get to the points
In very good nick considering it's been sat under a tarpaulin for 15 years...
as I just said in the p.m regardless off worth... I look at it and just see loads off character!
Fallen in love haha
Thanks all!
Couldn't find happier with the boys...
also this paternity leave is fantastic, iv painted the horwool, bought the bolens and got 12 months ticket on the cortina!
And iv still got 2 weeks to go
Once again.... thanks all.
Here is mason (2) and leo the new addition
Will have a play today.
Engine is currently pull start but I have a dyno starter aswell the chap had to go with it.
Still interested to know what it maybe worth
Matt
The hut and the log splitter he made himself put off old odds and sods. Very talented man.
Yes interested in the tyres. Will message you.
I quite like the way this has been done... the paintwork is generally very good. Has been well stored for 15 years and I think it looks 'just right'
Few question....
where would I find engine number and chassis number?
Also there is no spark? Where should my first port off call be to look for
Thanks all
I shall get some more pics uploaded tonight.
Just need some rear tyres apparently so will try and hunt some down before next weekend although there are some wheel horse ones local to me
Said bolens in the add... but the chap wasn't sure on year or model.
Iv narrowed it down to a bolens husky? But nothing further than that... and I don't think any off them came with briggs and stratton
