  1. hi all, just to let you know that we now have 46 entries for biddenden tractorfest and room for more so if you would like to come along please pm me and we can sort out the forms. the horticultural section will have a bbq lit on saturday eve so all you need to bring is what you want to eat. we also have a working area which will be timed to fit in around other events on site.so far we have a great versatiller display, wheelhorses, a holder, a coleby(made in kent) a 100 year old weeks dungey hop tractor, hand tools including seeders, hoes and a collection of smaller hand tools, a ransomes crawler, auto cultos, anzani iron horse and motor hoes, colwoods and more….. well done and thanks to all who have entered so far

  6. we use stuart dawes for our machines at work, about thirty years ago i went there with my dad and they were in an old shed, now of coarse they have a well stocked and displayed showroom they keep good records, machines we got 10years ago are still on record with them. you never know they might have yours on record still......
  7. hi stormin, its a 1914 weeks dungey, made by weeks of maidstone in kent, originally designed for life in hop gardens. not many of them made but we have 2 of these entered in the horticultural section at the biddenden tractorfest this year. "rob" who is driving it is not the owner but a life long friend of the owner. rob used to work for the owner as a lad and tells wonderfull stories of the owner coming home with a car full of metal bits on several occasions, putting him to work with a wire brush before the tractors were rebuilt ive met the owner, who is such a nice gentleman who has a really special collection of tractors, impliments, engines, cars, motorbikes and other bygone items. we are very lucky that he is loaning some exhibits to us for the show

  15. this is my drymac duster by plant protection ltd, yalding, kent. arrived today from falkirk
  16. was just thinking of carp on bbq for the saturday for supper it was quite good to see the site again today, can now start to picture what room we have and where things are likely to go
  17. great link neil, i dont actually collect fuel cans but have a mixed display of hand tools, eltex heaters watering cans and so on. this is a good addition to the display as im always on the look for things to keep it fresh so its never the same
