yes , i'am coming and bringing three wheelhorse's.
-
when I had finished this part I made up a rear lift and had it hooked up to the skip ram, but it didn't work to well so moved the ram to the front and fitted the dozer blade.
the next work to do will be new rear roller bearings, a nice shinny paint job, new rubber tracks and maybe swap the kobota engine for a kohler. I don't know when this will be as each time I get it out I just want to drive it
-
you'll all welcome at the shed anytime, if you want hot drinks, bring your own tea bags/coffee. I'am a pensioner
-
top job as usual nigel, its what I expect from you with your referbs, always top job. I think you've aged a bit since I saw you last.
-
it all has a price ian, sounds like you need to come down for a visit
-
yes. that was the second time I had driven it, it needs to idle really slow and I need to put a spring on the tensioner

-
yes another special I built last year, i'll do a build and photo thingy when I get some spare time
-
Hi Koen. the engine is a early 40's Bradford 4 HP hit & miss horizontal stationery engine water cooled. Its a spare for Shak'in Horse
-
had another hour out in the heat today and got most of the engine together and bolted in
-
Thats the trouble neil, when you get old you forget where you put things, i must start writing things down, no wonder pam gets the hump every time i go out in the van
-
I had a wood store down the drive and as the wood pile went down i use to put the overflow in it, so i thought i would throw the sheet up and make sum room and bugger me there's another one hiding
-
Had a look at my orse's today as iam running out of room and 2 ov em are grazing on the patio
Walked in the shed and there's another one.
-
-
try painting your next project with it nigel, might stop the paint lifting,
-
Its lucky that most of the parts are interchangeable then mark
-
The next job was to cut the spare box section off the front and tidy it up, fit some bonnet hinges, fit a battery under the seat (to work the headlights) and cut some slots in the floor for the two slew levers. for the clutch i used the deck handle with a rod to the belt tenioner. the throttle and choke cables are halfords bike cables and solderless nipples, and rear fender from a 60s lawn ranger
-
Now i had the gearstick in the right place, after turning the axle i had to modify the engine frame and turn the engine all the rest of the controls were cable operated so made it easy to change. photos are --- engine fitted bodywork from A90 offered up and with bonnet fitted. to fit all the bodywork i only had to weld some angle along the frame as it was the same width.

-
looks like a machine for doing pin-strips on your lawn, whats in the box ?
-
you have to be as grumpy as nigel to be an old git.
-
Just the engine to put back together now and sort out the electrics, there is a deck for it but that's in bits aswell.
I checked out the numbers today (1-0391 ) listed as a 1975 C100 but badged up as a Raider 10, i.ve had a few like that, strange,
-
It's Pam you gotta watch out for.!
-
had some time spare today and it being so nice I had a bit of Horse-play. got most of the tractor together now, I forgot how many parts there are.
the chap I got it from really stripped it even took the valves out of the tyres. I had some track-rods in stock so fitted them and will keep the stainless ones for a project. here's a couple of todays progress.
