It's a David Brown Industrial tractor new to Simonds Brewery, it has a four wheeled malt tank trailer that goes behind it, this tractor
has been owned by the Southern Counties Historic Vehicle Trust for many years and is a very civilised machine to drive

Steve Denness and me took some machines up to a small village near Peterborough in Cambridgeshire today to support a 1940's weekend
known as the Holme Front (the village is called Holme, hence the play on words)
We took a couple of Colwoods, a Ladybird mower, and a Whitwood seeder, during the day I bought a childs wheelbarrow to go with our two Webb
childs mowers.
Although the main theme was a 1940's event there were some vehicles and machines that were newer present.
It was a great day, here's some photos...

The meet and greet is a social event held twice a year at the preserved Isfield station between Uckfield and Lewes in East Sussex
The line between the two towns was closed in 1969 and the station was bought for preservation in 1983, passing to the present owners in 1993.
There is an excellent café/restaurant, a mile of running line with steam and diesel locos and a pub next door !!

A project to watch with interest, nice workshop as well !!
