  1. Thanks steve, no doubt we will breathe some life into it... Musuem ?? It would need to be a big one !!
  2. Superb restoration, well done !!
  3. I have just won a Clinton engined Multigardner on that well known auction website Just need to go to Dorchester and pick it up, that will complete the set.... chuffed....
  4. Heres a photo of the Multigardner and trailer reassembled with cowling, tank and transfers back on All transfers courtesy of TITCH, top man !!
  5. Nice pair of machines Charlie, as the custodian of three Wheelhorses and one Cub Cadet 100 I reckon they are equally as good as each other...
  6. Hi Jeff, fantastic restoration, nice one !!
  7. Hi Jeff, sorry for any confusion, its actually two machines but more than two implements... the engine unit can be detached from one implement and then used on the other, the unit that was on the little mower is now on the trailer unit, the second machine purchased with the rotavator unit has stayed on that unit. I was pleased to get the trailer, not a bad deal for £25 !!
  8. Sea Horse... hmmm perhaps a new project for The Showman !!
  9. These two machines both have Briggs and Stratton 3hp four stroke engines they also made the Multigardner with a two stroke Clinton unit...
  10. Thats gorgeous isn't it, bet you could get a few tractors on the back of that !! (carefully)
  11. Nice piece of kit, you would have to be doing something very silly to get that stuck !!
  12. I haven't got the Tarpen unit Neil, but I do have a good diagram of it, a spare Tarpen drive and a couple of good mates who are handy with a welder so watch this space...
  13. At last years Ardingly Vintage vehicle show I was offered what sounded like a graveyard mower from a gent in Eastbourne down on the South Coast (steve d country)... this turned out to be a Multigardner, a machine made by Farmfitters ltd which comprised a self contained power unit which could be used on a variety of implements Shortly after buying this machine I was offered the correct trailer and rotavator unit for it for a nominal sum, needless to say car and trailer were heading to Wiltshire fairly quickly (we love a road trip) Soon afterwards another Multigardner turned up in Somerset on our favourite auction website, this was duly collected and brought back to life I will put some more photos up when I have downsized them, here's some to be going on with...
  14. Well up to your usual exacting standards mate, can't wait to see the photos of the finished article !!
  15. What a lovely restoration and a great story, a fitting tribute to your friend, well done that man
  16. Thats great Ian, don't think I have ever seen Nigel smile that much or that often !! Can't say I blame him though, that looked a right laugh...
  17. Bet he's a very chuffed little boy then !!
  18. Nope thinking of replacing our Freelander with a small van, big enough to carry a tractor in the back and tow a trailer
  19. No problem, glad I could help I am always searching for Tarpen on that well known auction site, if one pops up I will let you know...
  20. Tarpen also marketed the O and R engine as a self contained power unit for power tools, I will put up an advert when I can find it.
