Kohler K301PT engine 12hp

Recommended Posts

Before you all get your hopes up, TD is not turbo diesel.. If it was I'd be keeping it :)

EDIT... I thought the engine said TD until I gave it a quick wipe with a cloth a few mins ago!!       It actually says PT!!      Sorry :hide:

Bought not running, the engine turns by hand fine.. The throttle butterfly in the carb is stuck and the pull start cord has broken off... Yes that's right, this engines pull start only!!   Oh, it's painted gold from the factory!

I will get some photo's of it tomorrow as it's a bit dark to take any photo's of it now...

I'm only asking what I paid for i which is £30..

Edited because I can't read a label !!

Hi Koen, I expect shipping to your neck of the woods would cost more than the engine is worth!!  But you never know..

Anyone any idea how much these K series Kohler's weigh?

Here's a few photo's of the Kohler K301PT (not TD) engine..

The top engine cover is missing a bolt that holds one side down..

But if you have a spare finger it does stay in place :D

Hi Chris, the engine came from a Pacebraker hydraulic road drill set up.. If you look at Nigel's Handy Landy thread you can see where it came from..
