Navig8r 2 #1 Posted November 29, 2014 I've got a Montgomery Ward branded snowblower built by Gilson for the '73-'74 season... My grandfather bought it new in May of '74. It's an 8HP Briggs powered 2 stage with the 'Uni-Trol' transmission. I love this old machine! It's had a lot of use, but still runs strong! Anybody else got one? Ian 2,417 #2 Posted December 14, 2014 I'd like to get a snow blower for my Wheel Horse, but for the amount of time it would get used each year (if it snows) and the amount they cost over here, it just isn't worth it.. I have a snowplow should I need to shift any snow this year 1 diggerjames reacted to this
Triumph66 1,256 #3 Posted December 14, 2014 I would love a snow blower for my Bolens; there are a few on the USA bay at the moment at tempting prices but it is the shipping that is the killer. I echo Ian's comments about the lack of snow in the SW to justify buying one sadly.
slf-uk 914 #4 Posted December 15, 2014 I would love a snow blower too. Not sure how I would use it as I have a stone drive and I could easily see me putting a stone through a window or shooting the cat. 1 Triumph66 reacted to this

ranger 373 #6 Posted December 15, 2014 The only trouble with mine is I bought it to fit to one of my BCS but the pto coupling is the wrong size, if I ever get any spare time I may try & attach it to a Wheelhorse
