pmackellow 2,738 #1 Posted March 21, 2015 Better weather for this sale (still brass monkeys cold though), here's some photos of what was there... The Farmers Boy (I think) made £20, the Ransomes Marquis mowers only made £2-5 each, the WH Commando 7 made a surprising £200 (it was not that great), and the big Hayter mower with a MAG engine and a ride on seat only made £20. My only purchase was this rather useful sack barrow made by Slingsbys for £12. The next Collective sale is on Saturday April 18th
Stormin 4,458 #2 Posted March 21, 2015 Well we know who got the sack barrow and Farmers Boy. Who got the WH I wonder?
the showman 4,074 #3 Posted March 21, 2015 The Wheelhorse had no bonnet lock and the chrome thingy was missing, the plug thread in the head had gone, there was no brake band, it didn't run and the fuel tank had a big hole in it I thought it was 50 to 70 quids worth, I stopped bidding at £190 and it sold for £200 plus 7 1/2 % plus vat buyers premium
