picked this up today not my bag so it will be for sale but you wind it up to start it and its still got its original spanner with it

An interesting find Nigel, I've never seen a mower with a wind up starter!

 

Yes Ben, Nigel does have some interesting machines about the place :)

I have a much older hayter with wind up starter see my other projects

I had one of those many years back. The wind up starter was for the benefit of the gentler sex. :thumbs:

great idea but not a lot of use when it hasn't run for a while  not enough grunt  to get the fuel up to her I generally fit a pull cord to get things going then re-fit the winder once fuel is there then they work a treat ;)
