  1. You're #1 on the MoM post count! Congratulations!
  2. I can't believe I completely missed this. Thank you! We had a shared birthday / Mothers Day this year which is always fun. I was able to do my favorite thing which is camping in our camper (caravan) on our first trip for the year. Thank you for the birthday wishes, it was a good day (although I am feeling my age a tad)
  3. And I look forward to seeing you Neil!
  4. Not sure how I found it, but glad I did
  5. Well, it's not quite the 8th here in NY, so "technically" I didn't miss it. Happy Birthday Ian, hope you had a wonderful day!
  6. I'm kind of partial to Public Replacement. For those of you who don't know, the blonde is my oldest daughter Megan. With an original:
  7. Thank you for posting that, it's really an amazing job!
  8. Since the Wheel Horse show last year, I have been receiving the Lawn and Garden Tractor Magazine. I was fortunate to meet Kate Goelzhauser, editor, in person as well as many others who I've known for years in the cyber communities. The latest issue has just arrived and immediately I noticed a beautiful article written by Scott Mehlberg, who I was also very fortunate to meet that same day. The article is about his annual meet and greet which has actually turned into one of the larger tractor shows in the country! On the back page is our very own Neil's now famous Stonehenge picture along with a short paragraph. Unfortunately for me I wasn't able to meet Neil at that show, but am really looking forward to this year. I encourage all of you to grab a subscription to the magazine, it can be found at http://www.lagtmag.com
  9. This is going to be interesting. I'll likely direct some RS people here to see this one!
  10. Welcome to My Old Machine. First place for you to begin is to introduce yourself in our introductions area Here you can tell us a little bit about yourself, what kinds of machines you have and maybe a little about where you live. You can then add yourself to our member map and check out other members who may live close to you. You never know, there may be another MoM member right next door. Have a technical Forum question? Ask it here in our Site Suggestions / Updates & Issues area. No one is born with the knowledge how to do things on the forum, and no question is stupid. In most cases, if you have a question, there are others with the same question as well, so PLEASE ask, you'll be helping those who don't ask.

Chris, that HT20 is a really beautiful machine, hope you don't mind I set it as your picture!
  12. Unreal flooding, hopefully the rain will stop to have some of these waters recede.
  13. It's sad that this hasn't made the news here. I was speaking with a customer of mine who lives in your area saying that a train rail line is wiped out as well. Terrible what's going on.
  14. Can't imagine she didn't love that!
  15. I've used it in my Onan 416. The tractor had been surging so I thought that I would try some Seafoam. I gently poured some into the carburetor and really didn't notice a difference so I ended up cleaning the carb on it which made it run a lot nicer. Then put some in the tank and after that tank, it ran like new again. Not sure if it was the cleaning or the sea foam, but it didn't do anything when pouring into the carb.
  16. The Restoration section has 2 primary areas. Step by Step Restoration Private Work in process The step by step area features ALL completed projects as well as projects which are on-going with interaction from the forum. The Private Work in process section allows you to privately craft a topic on your restoration without interaction with the forum. Posts in this section are visible ONLY to you and the staff of My Old Machine. When your topic is complete, notify a moderator to move your topic to the appropriate forum for all to see. We have created this section for those who wish to document their project un-interrupted.

  18. I like that added room on the front, my old unit had one, but unfortunately wouldn't fit on the new.
  19. Since being a young boy my family has gone camping in some sort of RV (caravan). We started with 5 of us in a 12' Pickup Camper, the kind that slide into the bed of a pickup truck and grew into a 5th wheel. When I had kids of my own, it felt natural for us to go camping as well. We started with a 19' Hybrid camper (a solid wall unit with tent like ends which are where the beds are) then onto a 34' trailer and finally to our current 5th wheel. Even if just for a weekend, I like to get away from home, lounge outdoors with a cold beer watching the world go by, only getting up to get another beer
  20. Quite a nice thing to do. And I must admit a tad bit touching giving me a thought. You didn't have a badge here either and must feel similar, so here you go!
  21. There are already a few interesting items in the downloads section, check it out and add your own!
