  1. Hi Patrick if it is a bing carburetor check the float it may be filled with petrol causing the float to sink and cause flooding Leave the petrol in float fill a tray with very hot water, submerse the float  in the water hold it down .

    if there is petrol in the float is will come out like a little stream of bubbles mark where it comes out and lightly solder it hope this helps

  2. Kermit started life in Wales in 1959 Had an engine transplant 1961 Bought by someone in the Kidderminster area I bought it and two ploughs rear toolbar with furrow ploughs and front furrow ploughs

    It is fitted with a C45 Norton Villiers engine it is certainly different  sounds well :D:wub::unsure:
