Hello All, I'm just curious as to this, does anybody know?..... Right the everyday ride on lawnmowers, eg, Westwood, MTD or mountfield etc, normally have 3-4 forward gears and 1 reverse gear, Would it do any harm to the gear box, or wear it out? Or do anything if it was to never drive forward only backwards? So never go into 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th just stay in reverse and drive everywhere in reverse? I know it's a silly question, Charlie.

Hello All, I'm kind of going into this one a tad blind, :/ I don't really know what the thing I want to make is called aha! I've added a few pictures, as the pictures are clear you guys can clearly see what I'm trying to get at! I'm hoping to build one of these cart things for my nephew, he won't be able to use it for a few years yet, but I just want to see if I can make one and see how well it turns out, I've got all the main parts I'd need, axel, wheels dummy steering wheel the drum and seat etc, here's what I want to try make, I'm just curious has anyone got any pictures of these? Or has anyone ever built one? Any information would be greatly appreciated -Charlie

Are any of you lot going this year! I have been to it every year for the past 4 years although I missed one show! And that was The 2013 cuckoo fair. I sent my forms off for this years cuckoo fair show yesterday. Going with family members we are going as a group, with 3 wheel horses 1 cubcadet original , and a Mini Cooper classic, I also go to the country show they hold at the same show ground in September.

Neil, that's my girlfriend, been together nearly 3 years now, and she's only just got used to all the machinery, as she keeps saying, "you love those bloody things more then me" "priorities" I say just joking about! I like the idea of a ladies on tractors section... Maybe we could make a few topics abit like the tractor and machinery magazine, a ladies on tractors and maybe a hedgerow finds! Ian you are correct the wheel horse blade bolts up to that, the springs bolt onto the chassis of the tractor and the bottom connections go onto that angle iron lengths to make it liftable, I have had the blade on there moving mud! Although it won't swivel, aha!

I have a few different toys/machines/tractors now but I must say my love is still with my little old wheel horse! I've had my horse a while now, it's been worked hard but mainly it just gets driven for fun, when I first joined the RedSquare wheel horse forum, my horse lead to some confusion, as it's a 1970 model raider 10, yet surrey county council road registered it with the registration APF 197H on the 22nd of October 1969. I have all the paper work with this and now a tipping trailer and a snow plough! (Typical) the year I buy a snow plough we get no snow! Aha still waiting,

Here is my MTD ride on mower that I brought as a non runner, I then made a few modifications and done my own paint work and decals! I believe it was a 1980/1990 model, I only ever had 23MPH out of it, but any quicker then that and it kept snapping drive belts, but here it is......

Here is my 1963 Cub Cadet Original. I brought this about 3-4 months ago now!, it's pretty much in bits at this moment in time as it's undergoing a full restoration, I've done the bits I can like got all the primer and undercoat down, now I'm just waiting for the warmer weather to roll the tractor outside and use my air compressor and spray gun to paint it all, not too sure how many there is in the UK, Here's some pictures

Well well, I have been put to shame aha seems as if I really must get my butt in gear and get my mustang looking as good as these above! Mines looking rather unwell at the moment!
