CNew reacted to factory in Part interchangeability Comet pump
Wayne PC1 & PC2 pumps apparently use a smaller diameter impeller, listed as "Impeller dimensions: 1-3/8" Diameter, 1/2" Width D Shaped Key Hub for 5/16" Shaft" here;
https://www.amazon.com/Utility-Water-Transfer-Impeller-Replacement/dp/B06XDHJYVL/
There is still the possibility the whole pump assembly could be removed from the electric motor and adapted to fit one of these engines missing the pump unit, you would still need to make the shaft adaptor if the original was missing.

CNew reacted to BIGJOHNG2 in Kenco model 61 pump
This Kenco followed me home from epay today!!! On outward appearance it looks pretty standard Kenco 61 until the front cover is opened... NO flywheel ! and no carb! Both pieces were wrapped separately in the packing box... and they do not belong with this machine! Let the buyer beware! The motor is a TYPE 115 s/n 063124. I am searching for parts!!!

CNew reacted to factory in Kenco model 61 pump
A while ago I had a go at making some, had to use three pieces to get the same thickness as the two gaskets originally used, also note the earliest engines have a single thinner gasket.

They sure are smaller than some of the other stuff. I do wheel Horse tractors which you won't really see much of that far west.
Don't know who holds the record, might be me but @CNew Clint was making a big run at his collection. I don't know exactly how many are out there but maybe 60-70 tools I'm guessing, plus spare engines and parts etc.
Flywheel, starter dogs, complete carb with gaskets and check valve, I might have an air cleaner too but always hate to part with those as it's by far the most common part missing and therefore the most sought after too. I'll include some diaphragms too.
I sold a bunch of the doubles. Some to Clint and some just out right but might still have a circular saw and or a chainsaw or 2. I got an extra Power pole snow thrower too.

CNew reacted to factory in O&R boat engine
Bit late but
Nice to see another with the Octura mount & carb, the water-cooled cylinder with 10mm plug is original, O&R had a part no. for this one, possibly looks repaired where the tubes are attached.
The type 193 is a standard engine supplied by O&R for many uses, Octura bought them & would have supplied all the other parts.
I'm guessing it doesn't have the special Octura rotary valve, nor does mine & believe it or not, the serial number is only two numbers apart from your engine, someone lost the cooling baffles from mine (the plates with the serial/type decal).
Since acquiring mine I have added the Octura carb & an extra noisy open muffler.

CNew got a reaction from Tom C in Tas tanaka
That Crutching unit is a nice find! I’ve never heard of such a thing. Thank you for posting all the manuals and parts info as well, this early TAS stuff is hard to find!

Some engine parts from the Tas P7 owners handbook
Here is a Tas P7 sheering machine. It’s missing the sheers and flexable cable, I believe they were standard to most machines.

Took some searching but found this. Might be just what you need to make a handle

CNew got a reaction from factory in Petro Chug-A-Drill
Finished the Chug-a-Drill (at least until I find a loop handle or have one made). Took some serious cleaning but well worth it. It’s definitely an awkward tool to sit down without the loop handle. Resting in on either side makes contact with the exhaust, tank, air cleaner or coil.

CNew got a reaction from Wallfish in Orline Cutoff saw
Finally got the saw back together. That took way too long. It’s been busy but it feels good to finish this project. I may tackle the Chug-a-Drill next...

CNew reacted to rbcfab in NOS and or Used parts trade
Took a break on this for a little while to fix the ignition on a Tecumseh powered Blue Star welder.
So I was able to cut the carb spring shape from the spring steel material. Edges were sightly rough but a little filing took care of that. I reassembled the carb with the new spring and reproduction carb diaphragm and check valve. It fired right up after priming the lines with fuel using a little air pressure! Only adjustments I've made is the mixture screw to get the rpms right for the correct voltage.
Calling this one done for now I guess. Might need to keep an eye out for another OR tool to rebuild!
