wheel horse sam

Amongst many of my other projects I've been working with Sam and Nathan we have been looking at fitting hydraulics to the C121 , trying to think what will have a vee belt pulley on etc and knowing we're not going to need vasts amounts of pressure for what we're needing ( eventually it's going to be used for a three point hitch ) etc , so I've sourced a power steering pump off an old range rover 3.5 v8 engine . Which should be more than upto the job hopefully anyway , I've also gonna use if it has enough capacity a land rover pas resovoir, in order to mount the pas pump we had to dispense with the original exhaust to allow for room for the pump , here is what we have done so far !

This is my latest project what I have gained from a old bloke I know. I spent a couple of nights the past couple of weeks getting it running for him then he said he was selling it so I got it for a really good price. I'm going too take the trip mechanism off and make it hydraulic tipping and restore it

Sam is over the moon with it got a lot of paper work with it and sales brochures!

It should run ok straight thru rally - most of the pullers run straight

Hi all me and Wheel horse Sam went and collected this today it's a nice looking machine it's wanting a few jobs doing to it and the paint work could do with sorting the first thing we noticed on getting it back that it wouldn't run just right , so we gave it a bit of work to do towing the 6 ft roller and it still wasn't happy so I decided to strip the carburettor and was I in for a shock the float bowl had been siliconed up etc so whe I stripped it down the in sides was full of silicone etc any way I cleaned it out put a new seal in and put it back on and it sounds a different machine!

Looks quite tidy DJ. Like the exhaust.

Hi all after a lot of searching I have found my new project a Ransomes Mg40 Dumper. Some of you might recognise this as I have bought it of Tom (Dibnah). The engine has already been recon by Tom ( Dibnah)so its just the rest of it what needs sorting. I hope you like the thread and the photos.

Hi all after a trip to my friends yard I discovered a stripped down wheel horse c 175 after a few hours of moving bits old vans and cars etc I got to it.
So I then dug it out and brought it back to my workshop
Then I spent the next day getting the engine running il post a link soon
. So that's a history on finding the tractor . I've know decided to convert it from wheel drive to track drive I've seen various garden tractors been done and been very impressed with them so I thought i want to have ago at that ! More post to come hope you enjoy

The Westwood lawn sweeper I bought from Chris did a fine job once I had worked out the faster you drive the better it picks up the grass!
Made for some interesting high speed swerving around trees and trying not to hit the clothes dryer moments

Well, almost... As I don't have the space or need for a compost heap all the grass trimmings go in the recycle bin.. Which happened to be full at the time!
So I was left with lot's of big grass mole hills to load in the trailer.... Of course the recycling bin has now been emptied

Hi all whilst doing my topping with my John Deere 2520 I've also had my right hand man on our trusty old commando 800 which we recently got from Dibnah or Tom as you may no him by . So we decided to put our scarifier on her which she did a great job . I did how ever have to put some weigh on the implement ie a mini digger bucket to stop her bouncing about !
