  3. Looks very nice. You say "had a drive round the garden chased by Lily for a hour"....I hope Lily is a dog and not your wife!!
  4. That was a very neat die you made out of the wood block! The trailers turned out very nice.
  5. Ian, you are a very talented fellow! Love to see your building & modification photos!
  6. WOW, this is a neat tracked Wheel Horse!
  7. Yes, they are "walk behinds" and are also soil fertilzers!
  8. Beautiful (home-made) Wheel Horse you have there. You put a lot of work into that GT!
  9. Very nice looking WH! I love the "tricycle" GT's.
  10. Very neat (and different) tractor. Do you spin the front wheel/engine with your feet? Will it spin 360*?
  11. Very nice looking fireplace. Did you get much help from the cat?
  12. Something like that would have been handy for me last Monday. I had a seepage tile put along my pole barn and I hauled 40-50 wheel-barrow loads of gravel onto the tile. My back & shoulders are still sore!
  13. I was thinking these would make good mowers for someone with allergies.
  14. I have several of these (from Harbor Freight) that I paid $5 each. I have them on my motorcycles over the winter. They are maintainers, as they need to sense a voltage in order to work. It WILL NOT work on a dead battery, and it WILL NOT over-charge a battery.

Necessity is the mother of invention!
  16. Wife saw that at "The Big Show" in June and thought it was neat!
  17. We wanted to replace the mattress in an RV several years ago. The mattress that was on the bed was about 8" too long for the bed and you couldn't walk around the bed. We looked at new ones, but the price was out of the question. The mattress was fine, just too long. My wife is very handy, and said, "I can take it (mattress) apart, cut out 8" and put it back together", so that is what we did. She removed the stiching along the top & bottom of the mattress and we folded all the material back about 2 foot. We then went up each side about a foot and cut the large wire on top & bottom, removed 1 row of coils, and slid the cut pieces up along the longer section of wire th the length we wanted. We then "hog-ringed" the wires back together. She had to remove some of the bedding material, but put it all back together just like it was. My folks couldn't believe we disassembled the mattress, shortened the thing and reassembled it, My wife told mom & dad, "I like a challenge", and to that, dad said "I wondered why you married Ken!" I get no respect!
