Got a pump locally £30, all fixed and happy, thank you.

My little push along has a slight leak along the top seam of the plastic petrol tank. It only weeps slightly but I would like to seal it with some form of resin. The plastic has a mottled finish some should grip OK. Any resins recommended to fix this on this spare mower. Thank you.

Thank you, the pump seems to be under the seat/fuel tank, getting to it is another matter, can't even see it to read the make. Will have another go the weekend.

Spent a good hour looking for a pump in the UK----- HELP.

I have been asked by an old mate to look at his Bolens Ride on. It is powered by a Mitsubishi 3 Cylinder Diesel Engine. I have never worked on a diesel in my life. My mate who is not a well man at all, tells me that it has been diagnosed with a defective electric fuel pump. Therefore I am on this forum cap in hand. I don't have any photos of the machine or even which model it is. Where on this machine will I find the fuel pump please, where will I get a replacement, new or exchange. What make will the pump be. I am willing to dive in and help my mate, but a bit of guidance will help this Hayterette DIY member would be helpful. Thank you in anticipation.

Wristpin, small world. I have an SX 200 as well will attempt to find an older picture. It is a Spanish version tuned to 19.5 BHP

Just sharing the love of Bikes and Hayters LOL.

Well Stormin. I used that link for this, but it won't let me post pictures anywhere else eg BSA Owners Club and others, file too LARGE again ???? Frustrating. I have an A65 as good as that as well. regards Colin.
-
Many thanks, this is a test message obviously not a pedestrian machine. Let's see if it works. Thanks for the link.

I have serious problems on all of my motorcycle forums and this on posting pictures as they are too large, tried most things to resize pictures.. Anyway it looks like a normal Hayterette not a graveyard mower which I have seen a few. I really wish I could send pics, so sorry.
-
Picked up a nice Hayterette with a rear bumper and B & S 50 XTS Quantum Engine. Started first go and has new wheels fitted !! It was apparently a graveyard mower. The blade is the single type which appears to be a B & S modification. My old mate reckons this was in fact produced as the disc and blades are so expensive. It does not look like a home made. Can anyone throw any light o this theory, thanks.

My mate has given up with this Condor and stuck it on ebay for spares or repair current bid £102. It looks really nice. Can't help some people.

Unable to find valve has anyone got any pictures please or any other tip-drawings etc, where is the pump etc. Honda powered, thanks.
-
Worn carb butterfly allowing large amounts of air through, just like opening a throttle. I got an old ransom like that, I had to chase it round the garden. Get some new trainers. Regards Colin.
-
Yep new machine, part of a job lot. Will have a look for the valve ? Regards.
-
Engine is absolutely fine, cutting section engages fine, but the hydraulic drive will not engage and there are many bubbles coming up into the reservoir, Help please. Thanks.
-
Many thanks, will look. Love the crest.

I am trying to service a 52 cc Plantiflex Chainsaw ( I think it is Chinese ). This model does not have a bulb primer ? It is not starting very well. I have just cleaned the petrol pick up filter which was a bit silted up probably with
two stroke oil. I am trying to work out how the fuel gets into the carb without a primer as the fuel tank seems to be below the level of the carb. Help me understand please. Thanks.
-
Thanks lads nice to be back on here. Regards Colin

I ran out of normal petrol for my Mountfield OHV mower. I put in some Premium Grade petrol in it laced with Castrol R40 which I use for my BSA Thunderbolt. What a difference, running slightly faster and pulls like a train. Will it do any damage. Starts better too !!!
-
Got this off one of my customers years ago. Comes with factory leather case and original Operating Instructions. Unable to test as the batteries are dead, comes with leads. Can send by courier mainland UK, Offers !!!

It's pouring into the combustion chamber at quite a rate. I will get a rebuild kit, they are cheap. Would having the pipes in wrong order let this happen, Thanks.
-
I have connected the pipes and primed the system. Petrol is flooding straight into the engine. It is a Walbro Carb. Would it be a diaphragm ?
-
Hi Lads. looking at a hand held RSV 3100E which was given to me. The fuel lines and primer were present but not fitted as they had gone brittle. I bought a new bulb- primer and pipes, all fitted BUT I can't see which of the two pipes fits which connection on the carb. I have found a few parts
list but they don't show the connections. The connections on the bulb and different lengths which indicated the flow. HELP please.
