With that Chicken Power engine you should have everything you need to get an engine running and mounted on that bike with maybe the exception of a carb diaphragm. So I'm not sure exactly what you need or want. Do you want me to go through an engine for you and have it running? Or we can easily guide you through getting yours running which is probably faster. And less expensive.

The engine, gearbox and tire drive gear are the same exact thing as a Chicken Power unit which was used the same way to engage the front tire on a bicycle.
Post some pics of what you have for engines and stuff and we can probably work something out if you need to.

Think I might have a whole spare engine with gearbox for one of those (NOS). That's the only engine I ever remember seeing with a purple decal on the recoil blower housing. Is the decal on the engine cover purple?
Never got around to it but I was going to make one out of EMT pipe.
It may be the gearbox that's stuck and not the engine. The old grease they used in them can get hard as a rock

Finally got around to cleaning this one up a bit.  Also got it running today, took a few more attempts than usual but once it fired it ran pretty strong.  It’s always satisfying to fire these up!

Just happened to be on the auction site yesterday while looking for something else and low and behold this was on there too. The auction was ending soon when I saw it so figured I'd take a stab at it. Pleasantly surprised to win one since these 400 models are pretty rare to come across even though I need another generator like a hole in the head.  Guessing it needed too much work for most people since it went fairly cheap for what it is. Luckily, I have all the stuff to make this complete. Hopefully didn't outbid any of you guys

Couldn't find any brand on this one. Don't believe it was ever run or used

Oooo, the term "very interested" means expensive for you. Wooo Hooo.

You being the only resource back in the day is what got all of this started. Highly doubt I would've ever went past those first 2 engines if we never connected. I didn't know squat back then so your help and knowledge with the stuff was crucial in my collecting of O&R. Glad we started this because there really isn't any other place for people to go that I know of. Then people like David get involved and the knowledge base has grown to new heights because of his involvement and willingness share information. In a couple of years CNew will be coaching and suppling parts too at the pace he's going.

A very very special THANK YOU to JustO&R!  With his help the engine now looks as good as new! Definitely makes it a really nice and complete original engine again. Can’t thank you enough!

Well, it only takes about 9 or 10 months to do something which used to get done in a day or two. Finally got around to and made some time to assemble this cutoff saw. It's not 100% done as I need to make a grommet for the carb intake to match up with the hole for the air cleaner and I'll install a new carb while I'm at it. Still need to order a new blade too and do some clean up on it.
Used to be able to go through these quickly but didn't look for the specialty tools I made for easier access to the tough to reach bolts an such. Luckily the recoil went fast and got that the first try.

These outboards could be powered by either gas or 12v electric and the power heads could also be coupled together for a gas powered 12v dc generator to charge batteries.
