john try using microsoft picture manager it shoughd already be on your computor all you do is press edit- compress pictures- tick documents- press ok.save your picts will then be a perfect size for this site
know it was open just for the day neil, the photos dont do it justice, you cant get far enough away to take good photos some of these pumps must be 15metres tall the fly wheels alone on some are about 6 metres and its run by volunteers most of the pumps were working in the picts i took thats why some are a bit blurred
is that an iron horse sitting there rusting away in the back ground??
yes it is jeff i got given it about 15 years ago i had it lifted on to my trailer by a tractor with a front loader drove 15 miles, when i stopped i found it had gone through the floor of said trailer so we unloaded it and it has not moved since the trailer was scrapped, i dont know how heavy these are but but they aint light
does it quicker than a wheelhorse
