  1. I did 300 miles with it in my van and nothing broke, I must be more a gentle driver.

  6. Not sure mate, I'm not to well up on big diesel V8s but it had a massive turbo. Looked like it was built for tractor pulling There was a lot of different stuff and a lot of people getting in the way when i went to get a photo.

  9. Ater a weekend of trundling round rally fields the Sears continues it's travels North on an open back trailer.

  11. Had a drive over to Newby hall this morning and delivered the Roper to the new owner. he looked quite pleased with it.

  13. I think some of the oil cans have leaked on the way up north, it said on the news there's a 300 mile oil slick from south to north of the country . police are looking for a van full of empty cans
  14. Dearly beloved, we gathered at Johns today for the collection of the Sears Roper where it has been kept for the last few months in a nice warm workshop wrapped in blankets. It was pulled from the brambles years ago and nursed back to life by Alan and his heeling hands and now due to lack of storage he has to pass it on reluctantly to a new owner. A very sad day as he tried to stop me loading it into the awaiting Sprinter all without success. Heres some photos of the proceedings. Hankys at the ready

  19. Well done Norm, I managed to sneak the Bolens in the top shed where the roundhoods were parked and threw a sheet over it. Pam was indoors watching tv
