  1. Just when we thought we'd found all the goodies this was unearthed. Its a right angle drive but has a shaft out of each slde that drive the same rotation, handy for a 4x4 project
  2. Got a bit more done today. As i use the auto caulto plough with good results I decided to make the hitch adaptable to take most of my attachments. i got a length of channel bent up and drilled some holes, its held on with 2 nuts. ive also welded the tube on to make more like a clevis. heres some photos
  3. Thanks for all that information, i think i need some more seat time with it and give it something to do then i can play with the pin in and out and see what it does
  4. Just to say thanks to those who have returned their entry forms. As a bonus we have planted some potatoes so if you have a lifter or spinner you will be able to harvest these as well as work your machine in the working field. If anyone hasn't had their form yet PM me and I will email you one
  5. Thanks Iain, whats the pin for on the o/s rear hub for ? I hav'nt had a chance to drive it yet but seem to drive round the garden centre ok without it engaged. it says that it enables you to push the tractor when disengadged and works like a handbrake when engaged ?

  8. Got a bit more done today. the lift bar i had to offset to miss the foot rest and i made it adjustable at both ends incase i want more lift or more downwards movement depending what attachments I'm using. heres some photos that tell the rest
  9. Thanks Iain, I downloaded a plan from Gt talk but went my own way with the metal I had in stock
  10. Now ive got the Bolens running i want to put it to work so the first job is to make a rear hitch. hunting round in the shed for suitable material i came across a camshaft locking kit for an Audi A 6 so being that I won't be doing anymore of those i cut it up. Heres today's progress and photos

  16. Had a good day, the van unloaded, logs all split and under cover in the store and all the 4x2 sawn up and stacked ready to go in the wood burner
  17. Just an update on the Roundup, we have 12 Wheelhorse's coming plus 3 very special ones that have not yet been seen before on the English rally field. Dont forget all makes of Horticultural machinery are welcome at the show with the addition of the Roundup that will have their own exhibiting area. If you hav'nt got an entry form yet just message me or vegikev and we can email you one

  19. All the exhibitors who attended the 2016 show should have their entry forms now for this years show. All Horticultural exhibits welcome, there will be arena displays and a working area to use.
