  1. Thank you all for my birthday wishes Went to see Iain and Joseph in Norfolk to get some wood for project shed Iains wife Caroline had also made me a surprise birthday cake ! A great day thanks to all the Reeman family, and my good lady wife for putting up with me lol Thanks again guys, made us very welcome as always, fed us well and sent us home with a load of wood !
  2. Rover Vermillion from Halfords, it was the closest I could find and replenish easily
  3. Raised platform in place, just waiting for the wood to finish it off... One or two machines have crept in as well...

  5. A lower than usual turnout for the Meet and Greet today which was disappointing, however those that did bother put on a good little display, so many thanks gents and ladies who did turn up.   6. Carpet in and extra door furniture on (door bolts etc )so its nice and secure First couple of machines in, not in their final storage places yet...
  7. The right seat for the rolling chassis was found on ebay and arrived today
  8. After much saving, planning and pondering the new shed finally arrived yesterday and was finished off about 6pm today. 16 foot by 8 foot, this will be the new Wheelhorse/Westwood shed

  10. Not sure about who the importers were, I did find this advert in an old UK gardening magazine... From the little I have found about these they were built from the early 70's until the mid 80's, by the engine numbers the two I have are 1981 and 1982...
  11. Yes there was, probably not that easy to find, have a look out on ebay, one might crop up !
  12. Whilst at the Kingsfold Rally with our Mowett Mustang ride on, I got talking to a chap who offered me another rolling chassis of a Mustang for not a great deal of money. I went to collect it last Saturday from down on the South Coast, the chap also had a complete one with a home made deck that he also agreed to part with, also a rather rare Mustang bag for the original mowing deck - these decks are notorious rotters so not surprising that they are soon disposed of ! Here's some photos... Photo 1 shows the first Mustang at Kingsfold, photo 4 shows our dog Bella checking out the new arrivals...

  14. Last collective sale of the year at Ardingly Not much vintage there, here's a few photos of what was of interest... Unimog was unloading, it was not for sale...
  15. Held at Newbury Showground October 6th and 7th A smaller than normal horticultural section, of which we were delighted to be judged the winners with our sprayers and dusters display. Here's some photos...
