Last one for today...
Allen Walkover sprayer literally rescued from the local tip, I think its early 90's so not that old but still worth saving...
Cleaned up and painted, main decal on the tank is another one from Titch at Machinery Decals.
-
Not exactly a concours job Nigel but it saved it from the scrapman probably and tidied it up a bit
-
since these photos were taken its been carefully cleaned up and well lubricated with chain lube Norm
-
Bought this at one of the Collective Machinery sales at Ardingly in March this year.
Its the pedestrian operated version of the spreader we have had for a while that goes behind a garden tractor.
Its got a bit of tin worm in it that the previous keeper had already tried to do something with, so as its a display
piece I cleaned it up as best as I could and painted it, luckily the decals were intact so they were carefully masked up.
The only decal not to survive was the OFF/ON decal on the handlebar this was supplied by Titch, a couple of square plastic
end caps and a pair of handlebar grips from ebay finished off the spreader.
With this unit I now have towable and pedestrian Cyclone spreaders in two sizes, so a display of them all will happen
somewhen no doubt...
-
It would good behind Trachorse mate...
-
Thanks Alan, I'm pleased how its turned out, a good few evenings in the shed to get it to a finished stage !!
-
Got the swill cart off a mate many moons ago, it had the wrong wheels with tyres on and the tyres were knackered.
Saw these wheels in an autojumble stall a few years ago and took a chance that they would fit the cart, luckily they do !!
-
Ah right, I'll sort that out when I've got a minute
-
I acquired this last year, after finishing off the Landmaster ride on tractor I thought this could do with a coat of looking at.
It's all there and works fine, so it just needed a clean up and a coat or two of paint on it...
Decals supplied by Titch...
-
If I want a bigger roller at any time there's this one (Barford and Perkins) sitting in the garden...
-
That's a good plan Mr Showman
-
-
No mate it did not have one on it
