expeatfarmer 591 #78 Posted October 2, 2014 Easy way to fit a hydraulic pump is to buy a clutch cover from Neil Jarret that has a vee belt pulley fitted, you can then mount a pump in the engine bay driven by the belt. The dumpers and tractors are identical only the seat is mounted on the oil tank for the dumpers and the steering brake levers reversed. As the MG6 has three forward and the same three reverse gears it makes no difference which way round they drive. It is feasible to set the truck up so that you can swap seating ends according to what you are wanting to do.

Dibnah 19 #96 Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) The Ransomes plate has it as Mg40- The Ransomes register has it as a Mg40, I have a photo of the plate with serial no and designation (mg40) which I took when researching it. It only matters to members of the site who may need reference to info regarding an Mg40 who wont find it under Mg6. If you post a photo of the plate on the machine would this help. Id no is 15295.
