meadowfield 1,900 #1 Posted April 29, 2015 For those wondering what to use and on some models - how to cut the holes out. it's called grip tape and is used on skateboards - so easy to come by on that auction site. Cut to shape with old scissors or a stanley knife. if you need to cut holes, then mark them from the underside in pencil. I just traced round them on a flat surface after marking 1.5" in from the edge. I then made punch from a piece of chrome pipe - turning the edge sharp on the lathe, and then with a hammer on a piece of rubber mat they were cut through. and voila...
