Will-Haggle 73 #1 Posted July 18, 2015 I have now been given two Merry Tiller Chassis (thanks Phil Murrell and James Manley), which have both turned out to be Professional models. These had Clinton Longlife 900 iron engines, has anyone got a Clinton 900 3¼ hp engine preferably complete that I can fit. My other Professional is pictured below..... 1 Triumph66 reacted to this

Will-Haggle 73 #6 Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Be careful what you ask for, I put a wanted ad in the Wessex Stationary Engine club newsletter for a Clinton 900 engine, I got a reply from a chap who has a complete Merry Tiller Professional. I went and bought it today and it is complete! It's in good nick as well! Edited September 4, 2015 by Will-Haggle 1 nigel reacted to this
Will-Haggle 73 #7 Posted September 7, 2015 ]It's now got new throttle and clutch cables and a pair of new handlebar grips, courtesy of www.merrytiller.co.uk, top class service! I've just got to clean the tank and carburettor out and away we'll go. Took it to the Brinkworth Show on Sunday with my others. I've been promised a Vee-plex pulley and this one will take it because it's not got a reverse gear.... 5 Joe the small engine man, sten, nigel and 2 others reacted to this
