the showman 4,074 #1 Posted September 24, 2015 Due to the rain this week and the poor ground conditions it's been decided to cancel the show this weekend. A really good rally and a great shame but we can't change the weather

rog8811 47 #4 Posted September 24, 2015 Very disappointing to the guy who bought the wolseley 6/90 from me, he was going to display it "as found" at the show and had invested in a trailer to transport it and a gazebo to go over it in case it rained. He had also purchased a load of food to cater for the wolseley owners club who were going to attend.
the showman 4,074 #5 Posted September 25, 2015 We all go to a lot of trouble and expense to do these shows, i run the Horticultural section at this show and spend 4 days there as well as taking extra tea and coffee. We're all disappointed after all the preparation to get ready but we can't odds the weather, i think we've been lucky this year I've done about 20 shows this year and this is the first one that's been cancelled completely. We've had rain at 2 or 3 but only had to be towed out once which i think is good going considering our climate 1 diggerjames reacted to this

the showman 4,074 #8 Posted September 28, 2015 I know the gound between the barns on the main entrance was under water on Thursday and once you pull the plug on a show there's no going back
