Hillsider 16 #4 Posted January 3, 2016 I don't have photo to post but I believe it may be a Merry Tiller, possibly a twin six. If I find more info I shall post again. 1 Will-Haggle reacted to this
C-101plowerpower 548 #5 Posted January 3, 2016 from what i can find on the internet Hillsider is probably right with it being a merry tiller twin six.
Wristpin 400 #6 Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) I thought "home made" but they certainly look like MT chain cases . I had never heard of or seen a twin six. Edit. Yes, it is a twin six and is described and illustrated in Brian Bell's Seventy Years of Garden Machinery - what a beast, 9hp Briggs and uo to a 6 foot cut! Andyp88 8 #8 Posted January 3, 2016 I was trying to find out what it was for ages thought it was Merry Tiller but couldn't find any info on the model. It was a beast of a thing. Just found this now. 1 Will-Haggle reacted to this
Will-Haggle 73 #9 Posted January 4, 2016 Yes it's a Wolseley Twin Six! It doesn't appear in any of my literature, they must have had separate catalogues for them. I've never seen one!
sten 84 #10 Posted January 4, 2016 There was one on ebay a couple of years ago, cant remember what it made but I thought it was a lot. Nothing in my merry tiller literature either.
Avarina 1 #11 Posted February 26, 2019 Hello lads, yes you are correct it is a Wolseley twin 6. Wolseley is the company that made the merry tiller. The twin 6 has 4 rotors underneath and will take a further 4 each side in place of the transport wheels. I have one in my shed. 1 nigel reacted to this
