Cub Cadet 613 #1 Posted June 2, 2017 Hi, i'll get some pictures up shortly, I have a friend who has a Martin Markham in pieces. The previous owner took it to bits and now my friend is trying to put it back together but it needs some transmission work etc. Does anyone know if they had manuals with exploded diagrams on? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ewan 1 Triumph66 reacted to this
the showman 4,074 #2 Posted June 2, 2017 Paul would know, he has one and done a lot of work to it 1 Cub Cadet reacted to this
Stormin 4,458 #3 Posted June 2, 2017 If he takes it to Newby, you could strip it and take photo's. 1 Cub Cadet reacted to this
harryt 281 #4 Posted June 2, 2017 Is it a colt or a colt deluxe as they would be slightly different. The colt deluxe is 10hp and has hi and low range, as compared to the colt which is only 7hp and no hi and low. I have an original manual for one with some details in, if you need pictures of that or the tractor let me know. However I have not taken one apart unlike Paul. pmackellow 2,738 #5 Posted June 2, 2017 The gearbox is in bits waiting for a new second gear, Mr Denness (whoever he is) did the spanner work on it... As Harry says the 7hp has only three speeds, the 10hp has three and a high/low box 1 Cub Cadet reacted to this
Cub Cadet 613 #6 Posted June 2, 2017 Thanks for your replies, he's just sent me some photos which ill post. Its a 7hp engine so does that make it the 3 speed Colt version?

pmackellow 2,738 #10 Posted June 2, 2017 That's a Meccano kit if ever I saw one ! I have got another back end for a 10hp which will be up for sale soon (as will the tractor when the gearbox is sorted) 1 Cub Cadet reacted to this
Cub Cadet 613 #11 Posted June 2, 2017 @pmackellow do you know what colour it should've been originally. As you can see its in a sorry state but he is hoping to put it back together for his friend. It was his friends dad who took it apart many years ago and his son would now like to reassemble it.
harryt 281 #12 Posted June 2, 2017 Not sure on this, but I think it it cou;d be a colt deluxe as has electric start, not sure if that was an option for the colt. 1 Cub Cadet reacted to this

He could really do with a manual but i'm not sure whether they made an in depth one. 20 minutes ago, harryt said: Is it a colt or a colt deluxe as they would be slightly different. Harry Harry, does the manual have any exploded views or images that may help him with the reassembly. Thanks

harryt 281 #23 Posted June 2, 2017 I have just had a look at the manual, it is quite basic and there are no diagrams of the transmission, it only tells me a few details about the speeds and fluids. Harry 1 Cub Cadet reacted to this
