Stormin 4,458 #1 Posted January 7, 2018 While in Lidl I spotted this little power pack at just short of £40. It'll be handy for jump starting the tractors if needs must away from home. Has a very good light as well. Battery should be good for 20 jump starts the bumph says. Has a recharging plug and lead. 1 Ian reacted to this
the showman 4,074 #2 Posted January 7, 2018 I saw those the other day, they look a bit small have you tried it yet on a flat battery yet , ?
Stormin 4,458 #3 Posted January 7, 2018 Not got a flat battery. Only rectangular ones. Tried it on the Sears/Roper. The battery on that is slowly losing charge for some reason. After two - th ree weeks standing, will turn engine but not fast enough. Started easily using the pack.

Came off one of John's tractors which he said at the time was a good one. Before that it had a 12 volt 17 amp battery which I used for starting a model boat engine. I think the Roper killed it. 1 Stormin reacted to this

A BIG difference to the Roper. Boat 65 inches long. 1 expeatfarmer reacted to this
Stormin 4,458 #7 Posted January 8, 2018 Without going out for a look, I think ok for petrol engines up to 2000cc and diesels to 1600cc.
