Stormin 4,458 #1 Posted February 15, 2018 Swmbo went to the green grocers in Wigton for some cabbage for Timothy, her beloved rabbit. "Sorry there's a shortage," the assistant said. "We have to import it as we can't grow it in this country." WHAT! Since when? Don't know what those green things I've seen in the fields and allotments are then? 1 1 3 Triumph66, squonk, HeadExam and 2 others reacted to this

Anglo Traction 1,016 #3 Posted February 16, 2018 Next time you're in the Greengrocers Norm, ask him if he's ever been to Lincolnshire?.
squonk 71 #4 Posted February 18, 2018 I used to be the head HVAC guy at a hospital. Up the road north was a Sauerkraut packing plant. One spring they were making the kraut and the wind was out of the north. The operating rooms call and say they have a bad odor. I go into the office and they say can you smell it? I say I do but it's against health codes to shut off the air to the suite during surgery. So here's a few million dollars worth of surgeons and nurses saying " what do we do?" I told them to send someone down to the store and bring back some hot dogs and have a go at a Barb B que!
