That's nice all I have is an old school mic you need to count the little hash marks .

That's a nice little muffler you have there or is it an filter hard to tell in the pic

Yeah, when I was restoring my Cub Cadet and rebuilding the old Kohler engines I invested in a good set of micrometers.

 

That is a muffler, just finished cleaning it up and I’m going to use it on a project I’ve been contemplating.

Hell yeah,  I'm 55 but don't really know it. Doing stupid stuff is one of my specialties. Only problem is if you send it up here you might not get it back. I've been wanting one of those for a while now. I'm always up for doing some trading for it too

Just ordered a set ! Ive got some small ones for leather that work good. Just got done cleaning up the body of the saw

came out good . Not sure what to do with the recoil whether I should paint it or just leave it as is.

That did come out nice, paint looks nice and bright. Tough decision on the recoil, maybe depends a little on what you do with the gas tank...

Decided  to paint the recoil. Thought it would look better with a coat of paint

got the gasket for the tank today it was only held hostage for a few days  I will make a few

over the week end .looking forward to is getting this one done.

Cover looks nice all painted up- what did you decide to do about the gas tank, did you find some yellow paint that looks close?

I was waiting on a gasket that was held hostage:ph34r: but it escaped and found its way here yesterday. just need to cut one out

and I got the paint at an auto body supply. looks good in the can we will find out first of the week how it really looks.

We just need to find a kid to try it. I don't think I will be on it. Unless we do one of thing like in a movie were I'm standing still and the background is moving.
