Wallfish 698 #2 Posted March 15, 2020 That's cool. Ya never know what these little engines will turn up on next. Not sure why it didn't post as a link to click on. I had to to highlight it and open in a new tab. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-gas-powered-toy-motorcycle-1919183756

I have all seven pictures from the ePay auction for this model, it doesn't look like a toy to me, more something a model engineer may have built, the copper parts are solid not tubes. If anyone was wondering it sold for $844. David 2 Stormin and Craig H reacted to this
factory 487 #4 Posted March 15, 2020 There was a second one sold around the same time, this one made $1775, I haven't seen another scratch built model bike since these two. David
Wallfish 698 #5 Posted March 15, 2020 Dam, that's some good money. I can build those. The only thing which could be trouble is the gas tank in David's second pics Maybe early Harley stuff?

Both of the model motorbikes were in the US, found a pre-war Norton motorcycle that has some similarities to the second one. There are some ready made wedge shaped gas tanks for RC use, no idea if there is one big enough for the model motorbike. Wallfish 698 #9 Posted March 15, 2020 We can get @JUST O&R Terry the metal man to bang out a dozen or so scaled down replica bike tanks. He might actually be working on an O&R today since we haven't seen a post.
