Stormin 4,458 #1 Posted June 14, 2020 Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun. Done a bit of clearing up for a neighbour. Cut a some sieves down a couple of weeks ago, with the C-81 and finger bar. Today my neighbour and I gathered them up ready to burn. Thought I'd give the Black Horse some exercise, as it hadn't been run for a couple of months at least. Was rather reluctant to start, but eventually we went next door with trailer in tow. In the field the Black Horse started acting up. Would run and idle fine, but if shut down would be hesitant to restart. Took it home and got the Sears/Roper for trailer duty. Lost count of the trailer loads, but quite a few. Photo's of last load. 4 Triumph66, ranger, Alan and 1 other reacted to this
ranger 373 #2 Posted June 14, 2020 It’s a pity you can’t shred it and compress it into log sized bales for burning in the wood burner Norm. Nice tractor, needs a “three point” and a tiller though😉
Stormin 4,458 #3 Posted June 14, 2020 Three point is on the cards. I've got drawings/dimensions for the arms, Doug. Received from your good self I think. I recently got some photo's of the Sears three point. Though it's manual lift, not electric like mine had originally. Not sure about a tiller though. I haven't a use for one unfortunately. Alan 1,273 #4 Posted June 14, 2020 Nice pics Norm. Nicer looking load than what the Roper towed at John's place.
