paul 64 #1 Posted June 21, 2014 Farmers gone mad in Hampshire trying to get hay done. I have been asked by the local farmer to cut a wild flower meadow down later on in the year so today I got the allen out and cut down the hay where the mower cannot get to ie. round the troughs and fence line and was amazed it started first go. Anglo Traction 1,016 #10 Posted June 23, 2014 That's a very nice machine Paul. Ditto. Very impressive job and I really like the look of those Scythes. Maybe I'll find one to do one day.
paul 64 #11 Posted June 23, 2014 When I got the scythe it had a s12 carb on it but the float had a pin hole in it and the horseshoe shaped pin that operates it was broke . do you have any of these Chris?
Chris 642 #12 Posted June 24, 2014 Sorry Paul. I have just sold the remains of the S12 carbs I had Plenty of bits for the carb you have fitted now
Anglo Traction 1,016 #13 Posted June 24, 2014 Hold on to the S12 as well for now Paul. I will be stripping the one out I have to rebuild it, so I'll see if I can make the part you mention. Float could be repaired too if just a pin hole or available still?. Also - Chris thanks for noticing both our S12 needs, despite us missing the boat on the Parts.
