A good day for painting

Recommended Posts

I'm not often home, and when I am its either raining or I'm out with the family. Well today was a painting day....

We've got 4/5 projects on the go and a lot of bits in need of priming and painting. So project bendy got a little attention first.

Firstly the rear fender that's had a lot of patching

And then painting some other bits

Yep, it's been quite a damp and grey day weather wise here Chris, it's only brightened up over the past 90 mins..

What paint are you using Mark? The normal enamel or something a bit more car orientated?

I'm thinking of doing some airbrush work on my new project, so I will need some way of sealing it in..

Think I will have to steer away from enamel for the paint job.

Great weather in Hampshire today as well, I have put some under coat on the lister d but haven't got a strong enough washing line to hang it on. I also paint small parts on the washing line, missus got so fed up we now have two lines, so when mine isn't used for painting targets get hung on it for shooting with the air rifle. So they are very good things washing lines.
