    C-125 Rebuild.

Got a bit more done today. Engine back on and engine covers fitted, along with the recon carb off Anglo Traction. I have found there's still a slight trace of a leak from the sump. So I think I'll have to find a replacement.

In their day those diesel Westwoods were not exactly a “happy” machine. Rather typical of a diesel lump being dropped into a petrol chassis. Later on Countax had the same issue putting the Yanmar lump into the A20/50. Westwoods suffered bad vibration, broken fuel pipes and chafed wiring and then , Fire! If one saw a burnt out Westwood it was invariably a diesel!

i will have to answer this one as tractor boy is now asleep dreaming of tractors. The Westwood has a Lombardini 6LD 360 engine, which is 6.4hp and 360cc Iain

    C-125 Rebuild.

First photo' is where the crack is. As you can see it's barely visible. You can't see it with naked eye. So I have this metal repair epoxy adhesive which I've used before with success on a petrol tank. Below is it applied. The sump is now on the bench and filled with oil. I'll leave it there for a couple of days.
