Looks good Ben

Got the series 1 Gem out today, thinking a 'tinker' would be required as its not been started for over a year. It started on half a turn of the handle! Now that did surprise me :-D
Its moved to a neighbours garage for now, all ready for the Smallholders show. I needed the space to load the trailer with the Bantam, Atco, and both Landmaster Saturns in readiness for 'Strawberries and Steam' show this weekend at Wanborough, near Swindon Wilts.
Anyone here likely to be going???

well its easy to understand this. At one time the wheel horse "demonstrators" were painted blue, then red when sold. It was a simple case of confusion.

Very nice machine there nigel.

Trouble was Steve there was still a vast quantity left in your garage !!   

It was only a drive round the park, and a big thank-you to Steve for trusting me with it, somehow I don't think Steve would part with it !!

Both came back from sunny Hampshire today where myself and Paul mackellow attended the bill targett memorial rally.

Thaught I'd share a couple of pictures of my Mountfield m4 and boadicea after mowing the lawns at my old house I have just recently got the Mountfield going and it runs like a dream and the boadicea is one of my favourites in my collection and again runs like a dream.

The colwood hornet was the smallest of the colwood range and very rarely seen these days and I only have two on the register!
This one belonged to the great pat pettet.
Hopefully I have the chance to exhibit it this year and quite possibly with the colwood model Ra that's joined my collection but that's another story, still I thaught I would share some pictures of this rare little machine, and might I say heavy as well.

I think challenge is a bit of an understatement.

Had run over to an old friend who is a bit of a Ransom addict. Well more than a bit. 11 at the last count and a goodly collection of various implements. Unfortunately they were all tucked away. But a few photo's for you.

SATURDAY JUNE 21ST   Event at Tugwell Playing field, Hampden Park, Eastbourne that we have been asked to bring some machines along to, this is right on Steve D's doorstep so the OTA Monarch will be getting an outing
 
 
SUNDAY JULY 27TH   The Lavender Line at Isfield are celebrating the relaunch of their DEMU Thumper unit back into traffic in its new paintjob, we were asked this morning if we could support the day with some machines as they loved our display there in March

Oh yes sorry Steve Stone Cross Nurseries as well, a good little event that we supported in numbers last year, we will be in Yorkshire for this years event but I'm sure Steve and some of the local boys and girls will keep the flag flying
