Hi All,
Picked this up today from yes you've guessed it. That same old barn.
I have looked on the auction site and found one which says it is a Horace Fuller Ltd of Horsham, Sussex about a hour and a half away from me.
Does anyone have any info on it ?

Allen been out for a day in sunny Hampshire yesterday to cut a orchard come wild flower meadow. Took about 2 hours and about that for my shoulders to come round after. Paul
-
I have one too which I bought for my daughter to use but she is not intrested so it has gone into my collection
-
Here you go Neil. Some more pics of the lister d

Nice truck, a friend of mine has one which was ex army, which was also four wheel drive and much higher up, suppose the height was because of the axles. He actually got it third hand as after military service it went to a turfing company because of the four wheel drive capability. Now the bed has been shortened and is taken up fully by a hiab crane as he is a steel erector. She smokes a bit but is still used regular.

Had a look in my books on the presidents and the picture you have put up is a earlier version than mine. You can tell by the mudguards. I expect Titch will be around somewhen to second this. Also BMB made the two wheeled hoemate and cultmate

What models are they Neil? Mines a TS with a mk 15 four stoke on it.
-
Yes thats right about the arrow. Mine have gpo and all the numbers stamped.
-
Used mine at the weekend for about two hours and its taken about that long for my arms to stop acheing. Only down fall I find with them is the handles are very low and non adjustable for height. I am six feet tall so find I quite often have to stoop down to use them, apart from that they do what the advert says. Heres mine

Hi,
Yes they are the contract number and date stamped on the tool. I know this as my father in law worked for both the GPO & BT until he was pensioned off and I was given all his old spanners, at a rough guess eighty to a hundred of them which has saved me a lot of money as I wasn't around when imperial was the main sizes.

On the farm behind me they have got a new valtra tractor that inflates or deflates its own tyres to suit wheel slippage and ground conditions. Don't know how it works yet but told formula one cars also have it. Wouldn't like to fix it if it went wrong though, expect its a laptop job

Great weather in Hampshire today as well, I have put some under coat on the lister d but haven't got a strong enough washing line to hang it on. I also paint small parts on the washing line, missus got so fed up we now have two lines, so when mine isn't used for painting targets get hung on it for shooting with the air rifle. So they are very good things washing lines.

Great. Always wanted to go and about twenty minutes from me. So hopefully i will come along

Hi All. I have got most the parts for the model d now apart from the starting handle, so when the winter comes I will have something to do in the man cave. Must concentrate on finishing the tractor why the weathers nice, only problem is these farmers around here keep breaking things so I am forever welding various things up for them. Paul

Had a quick look at the model d today and wondered why it was quite easy to turn the flywheel by hand. Took the valve cover off and found one of the push rods is missing also i have no starting handle. If anyone has these at all and would like to sell them or tell me were i could get them that would be great.

Hi all,
You would think this barn would be empty of old machines now. I have had two rotovators , one tractor, zig zag harrows, trailed cultivator, allen scythe. There is a petter engine in there to come out yet, i don't know what model but has two flywheels about the size of shepard hut wheels and the engine is a bit smaller than me (I am six feet tall) also today I dug out two listers one is a d the other a junior, should keep me busy. Paul
-
When I got the scythe it had a s12 carb on it but the float had a pin hole in it and the horseshoe shaped pin that operates it was broke . do you have any of these Chris?
-
Yes that would be mr eames. Very good bloke. Paul at meetens put me on to him. He supplied me with a replacement mk15 engine. So i am looking for spares for it also spare fingers for the blade
-
YES I may be intrested . This one only had half a engine when I got it and a no blade whatsoever so I got a new engine from a man in petworth down your way so always on the look out for spares. This one is a ts with a mk 15 fourstroke Villiers.

Farmers gone mad in Hampshire trying to get hay done. I have been asked by the local farmer to cut a wild flower meadow down later on in the year so today I got the allen out and cut down the hay where the mower cannot get to ie. round the troughs and fence line and was amazed it started first go.
