    PRESIDENT

Hi All I have spoke about my president in the introductions topic, thought it would be better in this part now. The weathers been great in Hampshire today, so I managed to get some paint on the tractor. I will post more pics as and when. Paul
  3. Hi, Thank you very much for the info, I have just downloaded the manual. A great help. Paul
  4. Hi I have just received the above mentioned engine with a petrol tank at the front, I believe off a merry tiller but don't know much about it. So I am after a manual for it if anyones got one available to download. The numbers on it are 80302-0154-01-6803053 Thanks Paul
  5. Looks like a merry tiller titan to me with the two speed pulleys on so it can be geared down for the wheels or faster for the blades. Could be a titan as it looks very similar to mine. Paul
  6. I have two of those engines, one gold as the picture and one silver which is a later dated model. You are right Paul as mine are on my 14" & 18" Webb cylinder mowers, haven't had any problems with them they start very easily even when sat all winter
  7. Which one? the first is the vintage, horticultural, garden machinery club and there was a useful links site on there. I don't know if it is on the new site though. Most users on here are members also, so they will probably know if its still there. Paul
  8. Hi, I will have a look on facebook later, this machine was a wreck when I got it, I posted its progress on the vhgmc site about two years ago. I am also a member of a dedicated site to merry tillers done by Mr Haggle. Paul
  9. Hi All, The weather has been excellent in Hampshire today, so I thought while it was nice and I could get on the ground, my vegi patch got a taste of the titan. I was amazed when the old girl started 3rd pull after being sat all winter, it did have a snow plough on waiting for the usual snow in January but that never happened (probably will now its off). Here she is Paul
  10. Hi Tom My other hobbies when I get the time are shooting and fishing as I live on a farm, also don't laugh but I watch my footy team a lot but they have had a run of bad luck in the last five years. They did win today. Portsmouth fc. PLAY UP POMPEY. Paul

Heres a farmall from franklin mint in its display case which has a mirrored bottom so you can see underneath. Your right they have fantastic detail, steering works so does throttle , pulley and the seat springs

Yes I have a few but have been told no more as I also have three farmalls from franklin mint, and a john deere penknife collection from them also
  15. Hi all Not quite the tractors you thought. Just proves we are tractor mad around these parts. This is a collection of 100 tractors plus a booklet with each one telling the history.
  16. Hi all I tried to get this going this weekend. Yesterday I blead it all, listened for the squeak of the injector and after about 100 turns of the shaft she went. I had it running for about a hour then put it to bed. I went to start it today and I cant get it to go, still getting the squeak from the injector and smoke comes from the exhaust but not everytime. The compression is there as it will throw the handle and flywheel back. Any ideas would be great, I don't want to use easy start as I know they can get addicted to it. Regards. paul
  17. Hi all I will have a look at the makers stamp somewhen, I have loads of the above mentioned taps and dies kicking about. If anybody would like the items pictured you could have them as not much use to me. Paul
  18. Thanks for that, I will have to see if I can find the handle, it will be about somewhere in the mounds of disused tools. that's a nice pic of the lab/ retriever mines enough problems without wings
  19. I was given a load of old taps and dies yesterday (one minute I didn't have any now I have about 200). I came across these but don't know how to use them, I think there must be a special handle for them, they are numbered in order 1-4. they are American according to the makers stamp
  20. Great videos, I like the one where the tractors pulled in two also I didn't know you filmed the missus shopping. Paul
  21. I have got a old one that doesn't quite fit in the tool box but very useful . My Dad!
