  1. Thats not good.

Can I ask why you left them out like that  ?? Surely they would be stolen??

If you had them all under a tarp out of the weather then fair enough

Thats a lovely workshop to keep them in now :D

  2. Here you go then. Had a play today with them. Had to re ajust the cylinders. I will sharpen them up at some stage.

They are ok if you use them often before the grass gets too long or they clog up  Once I got the tractor going it ran ok for the job. Just as I took these pics it chucked it down!!

  3. It can only get better than it is Ian

Each cylinder should have 90-100psi when cold. Mine have 40 & 50. Raising to 60psi when hot

As the valves are not doing there thing correctly, I have hot gases going up the intake manifold thus causing carb problems :o

Have placed an order for parts so have to wait before I do open heart on the engine :D

  4. Chris is not far from me. Surprised he sold you an engine. He likes to hang on to everything!

Plenty of carb bits here & even a good piston, rings & con rod. Manifolds etc

Some mag bits. All good 2nd hand

Plenty of blade bits which I am going through

Even got some new clutch control handles. How often do you need one of those!!

  5. Yes seen sets fetch silly money. This set was relisted due to a time waster who never picked them up. He was way up north & made no contact!

I got them for £200 less than the 1st time they were sold B)  I was happy with what I payed & got some spares also :P

Cant wait to try them out. Previous owner used them to cut an air strip & towed them with his car
