Good find Koen
This list from the excitingly titled "List of wearing parts for Ransomes and Sturmey Archer four stroke engines used on Ransomes motor mowers and MG2 Tractors" may help you to identify the engine
It looks somewhat perilous being perched on that seat, at least the driver could probably see over the top of the pit! Imagine it with all the skimmer blades and sand conveyor belts running.
Interesting crop protectors on the MG6, have not seen those before. Does anyone know what crop they might be for?
Judging by the vehicles in the background these pictures were taken a good few years ago.
Had a very prompt response from Mark Woodward confirming that my entry to Tractor World has been received.
Am very much looking forward to Malvern,

Fantastic news Jonathon, many congratulations. I completely understand your wanting to restore 137 as it left the factory but as you say practicalities sometimes come first. I'm realy looking forward to seeing (and hearing) 137 at Malvern.
We were all rooting for you
Well done
Hugh
Well done Jonathon and congratulations on getting 137 running. If I wasn't 350 miles a way I would have been helping with the cranking ( feeble excuse )
