Today the first three of my tractors departed for pastures new, I have sold my set of 4 MG40 and my Whitlock loader. Three of them left today so now I have a big space in my garage !!!! Quite a unique photo not seen a full set of MG 40 as a group before.

Good to see life goes on !

Looked on line today to see if I could find one, found three or four straight away at prices ranging from £160 to£220 ! One guy admits he bought two and includes the original receipt !

Sent my man in to get one but none in stock.

It,s for stripping the sheathing off heavy electrical cables, adjustable for size of cable and thickness of insultaion.

Just had a phone call from "BT" saying that as I was a good customer they were going to reduce my line rental costs for three months. It was a woman with an eastern accent , I said that was very kind of them, she quoted my post code and address and then said she needed to know the name of the bank from which my direct debit was paid I started to laugh and said " is that so you can steal my money " she told me to Eff off and put the phone down.

I can only echo the sentiments and best wishes of the others, I have had more than my own share of issues over the last year and now find myself faced with the same decision, having spent many hours enjoying the crazy but technical builds you have put together you will be sorely missed. Look like seat belt mounts for full harness left over from your Land Rover days. I have a few on some of my crawlers, saves rubbing off the paint.

Wow ! All you could ask for !

Built in Wales as a means of employing injured ex miners. They made the J40 cars on the film and also a single seater racer known as the Pathfinder these are very rare and make £4-5000 when restored.

I bet that Father Xmas was a popular chap this year what a great present well done!
