The idea of split rims was that because the tractor is a skid steer, it may pull the tyre off the sealing rim and deflate the tyre (if no inner tube fitted). I don't image a wheel designed for splitting is very easy to remove the tyre the conventional way over the edge if they are welded up? I would cut the bolts and replace with csk hex bolts.
I'd be replacing the input drive seal while it is off as it is a nightmare to do when on the tractor, easily the worst seal on the tractor to replace. Even if you don't think it needs done for the sake of £5, it's worth it.
Thought you would have had more, ours started Thursday night and was still going at 7 on Friday, ended up with about 3" locally but as soon as i left the town there didn't seem to be any!
I had a crawler that run well once and fired but couldn't get it to run agian, condenser looked new so didn't touch it. After testing for spark under compression and removed the mag I found that the condenser casing was fitted but it was empty! Fitted a condenser and off it went, proved engines do run without them intermittently although that was a wico magneto.

Would never have thought they would be cast. Do the wheels not fit in your blaster?
