1017 just as i was considering dropping a ton tattie box filled with tractor front weights then it got a repreive new clutch/new tyres x4/ new drive belt /newbattery /new exhaust / new seat cover / and sawbench thanks danarmdave
yes it can take a bigger blade and you disconnect the drive belt and two chromed dome nuts and slip out bolts and you can lift off or reverse away from the frame i made up for that purpose or can just sit on blocks of wood as it is quite stable you just have to remember and not walk into angle arms sticking out as its v sore thank you danarmdave
hi i have just found some more photos showing cs sawmill /lister d on drake and fletcher trolley and mcconnel (best unrestored engine) thanks danarmdave ps if you look close at listerd you can see drake plate also on trolley big oval plate thats not me in photo
hi everyone i put a new solonoid on and now turns over off key but when i removed the carb to clean i took bowl off and the float fell out also the two locating brackets for the float pin to go through had somehow broken off so i have ordered a new carb complete coming in at around £52.00 inc vat so i will let you know what happens when that is fitted thanks danarmdave
hi everyone i bought a westwood ride on mower a couple of weeks ago for £40.00 it is complete but been lying for three years i have put a new ignition switch /battery /fuel line /fuel filter /plug /plus repaired the chewed up starter cog and spring and fresh oil but it still wont turn over with the key when you turn key ignition lights come on and their is a clicking sound under the bulkhead where the solenoid is could it be that because the fuses in the ignition line are not blown also if you take the air filter off and turn the petrol on it just pours out of the hole the the air filter screw screws into and the only way you can get it to turn over is with jump leads onto the starter and earth it on a bolt head and sometimes it starts but usually just turns over and over with nothing happening sorry this is so long winded but i am a diesel man i have no place in the petrol engine world they run rings round me so please someone help any ideas many thanks danarmdave dave k ps i do have a load more photos to download including the westwood

hi charlie the chainsaw you picture is a 1950s teles dont know model but there is something wrong with the tank and carb on yours as it should not sit like that the tank should be sitting level and i dont think that it had the clutch fitted to turn blade sideways as it would not run with the carb side on ? only my thoughts thanks danarmdave
hi neil the lister d that we have driving the saw bench is still mounted on its original trolley and both trolley and d still retain their drake and fletcher brass plaques this unit started out as a vegatable washer or so we are led to believe it came from inverness where it had been in the same family from new belonging to the war ag ? will stick some more photos when time permits thanks danarmdave ps i left it in its working clothes and it gets loads of attention
